The forthcoming film Bharat is a Hindi drama film directed and written by Ali Abbas Zafar and conjointly produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan. The film Bharat is featuring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani, and Jackie Shroff.

The movie is slated to be released on 5 June 2019 on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr and is going to hit the silver screen with the history of India from the point of view of an ordinary man and depicts the journey of the protagonist, Bharat from the age of 18 to 70. Bharat is an expensive budget film of Rs 200 crore (US$28 million).

The film Bharat music composition is done by Vishal-Shekhar with lyrics by Irshad Kamil and is scheduled to be released on 5th June 2019. On 25th August 2018, Salman Khan posted a glimpse of Katrina Kaif and himself from the film on his Instagram account whereas the movie official trailer was released on 22 April 2019.
